Purple on the Plaza brings together survivors, families, gender-based violence service providers, first responders, and other community-based organizations to stand in solidarity with those impacted by domestic violence.
Governor Kathy Hochul has made supporting survivors of Domestic Violence and public safety a top priority. Through historic funding, new policies, and targeted programs, New York State is actively working to prevent and stop gender-based violence.
OPDV would be honored for you to join us at the 2026 Purple on the Plaza ceremony and uphold New York’s commitment to keeping our communities safe and uplifting survivors.
