Catholic Charities Disabilities Services provides residential care in a number of settings throughout the Capital District region.
Catholic Charities Disabilities Services offers a range of community living residential opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. We offer residential and clinical supports and services to individuals in certified residences including Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) and Residential Alternatives (IRAs) both offering 24-hour support.
We have 17 residential houses in the Capital District area providing services such as administering medication, feeding, bathing or just helping individuals become more independent.

IRAS
Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) are certified homes for people with developmental disabilities that provide room, board and individualized protective oversight in the form of staff onsite or proximately available at all times.
Catholic Charities Disabilities Services currently supports individuals in seventeen certified IRAs across the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rensselaer, including four that specialized in supporting individuals diagnosed with Prader-WIlli Syndrome.
