Behavior Specialist

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services (CCDS) a leader in services for individuals with developmental disabilities, is now hiring for a Behavior Specialist to work with individuals with IDD living in residential settings, many of whom have experienced trauma. Services include analysis, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavior plans and goals as required by regulations and/or the needs of the individuals served.

Minimun Qualifications:

  • BCBA and a Master's degree in behavior analysis or a field closely related to clinical or community psychology that is approved by OPWDD; or
  • A Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, applied psychology as it relates to human development and clinical intervention, or related human services field and have or obtain OPWDD-approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development; or
  • A NYS license in mental health counseling and have or obtain OPWDD-approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development
