Access Pass
A program offered by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, the Access Pass enables children with a permanent disability free entry into NYS parks and swimming. For more information conatct http://nysparks.state.ny.us/.
Adaptive Sports Program
Provides sports instruction and recreational activities for individuals with special needs that enhance the participant's self esteem and independence and to provide training to those associated with the student that enables them all to independently enjoy the recreational environment. The Double H Hole in the Woods
A program that offers summer and winter camps and activities for children 6-18 with special needs and/or a critical illenss. For more information you may contact http://www.doublehranch.org/.
Friday “Knights” Recreation Program
Recreation program on Friday nights from 6-8 at The College of St. Rose. $25 per semester, ages 6-19, structured and supportive recreational program for children/adolescents who need social interaction beyond the school setting. Please contact Susan DeLuke, PhD 337-4914.
Stride
Dedicated to enriching the lives of children who have disabilities by offering sports and recreation programs and opportunities to include skiing, snowboarding, bowling, baseball, sailing, and golf. For information contact 518-598-1279 or www.stride.org.
Saratoga Therapeutic Equestrian Program (STEP)
