Residential Services

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services offers a range of community living residential opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. We offer residential and clinical supports and services to individuals in certified residences including Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) and Residential Alternatives (IRAs) both offering 24-hour support.
Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) are designed for people with specified medical and/or behavioral needs in addition to developmental disabilities. ICFs provide 24 hour support, intensive clinical and direct care services, professionally developed and supervised activities, and a variety of therapies.
Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) are certified homes for people with developmental disabilities which provide room, board and individualized protective oversight in the form of staff onsite or proximately available at all times.
Catholic Charities Disabilities Services currently supports individuals in fifteen certified ICFs and IRAs across the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rensselaer, including four that specialized in supporting individuals diagnosed with Prader-WIlli Syndrome.
The agency maintains a waiting list for residential services. For information on available residential opportunities or to be added to our waiting list please contact Denise LaBier at Denisel@ccdservices.org
