Residential Services

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services provides residential care and support in a number of certified settings throughout the Capital District region.
For some individuals the support of a residential setting is the ideal environment. They get the support of round-the-clock staff as well as clinical and programmatic supports all in a safeand responsive environment.
Individuals are provided with:
- A safe and positive environment
- Twenty-four hour staffing
- Clinical supports
- Individualized person centered planning
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Active and meaningful activities
- Community involvement
We operate Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) and Individual Residential Alternatives (IRAs).
Each of these residential models provide clinical services based upon need:
- Medical/Nursing
- Service Coordination/Case Management
- Speech/Language Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Therapeutic Recreation
- Music Therapy
- Psychology
Although often individuals living in certified residences remain long-term due to satisfaction within the program, occasionally vacancies do arise. The agency maintains a waiting list for residential services. For information on available vacancies and waiting list opportunities, please contact Lisa Hodgkinson.
