Catholic Charities Disabilities Services, an agency of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany in accordance with its mission is an organization committed to quality services and works diligently in creating a culture that is characterized by ethical conduct and decision making, transparency, continuous quality improvement and support to staff through education and training. An essential part of this organizational culture is a commitment to compliance with the laws, rules, regulations, and codes of federal, state, and local entities that guide the delivery of our services.

Catholic Charities has put in place a Corporate Compliance Plan in order to promote the prevention, detection and resolution of instances of conduct that may not conform: 1) to our mission and values; 2) to standards of ethical conduct; 3) to federal, state, and local laws; 4) to federal, state and private payor health care program requirements, such as Medicaid and Medicare.

The Corporate Compliance Program at Catholic Charities consists of the following eight elements:
