As a Community Supports Professional, you would be responsible for: Providing direct services in the home and/or a community setting to individuals with a developmental disability Through community events and exploration, Community Supports Professionals work one-to-one with people with disabilities on goals that increase that person's independence, such as, healthy living, socialization skills, money management, and more The objective of the Community Supports Professional is to contribute to a positive living environment and to enhance the quality of life for the individual being supported. Community Supports Professional Minimum Salary: $15/hour Community Supports Professional Maximum Salary: $15/hour Community Supports Professional Schedule: Flexible (full-time or part-time) Qualifications Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed) High School diploma or GED Smart Phone and/or Tablet is required for electronic record keeping.
