Community Supports Professional Position Description: We are looking for a dynamic individual to work as a part of a community based support team as a Community Supports Professional (CSP). The Community Supports Professional will work directly with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with the purpose of assisting the individual to acquire and/or maintain his or her independent living skills. Responsibilities include providing non-medical services and assisting with activities of daily living. Support services may be provided at home, work, school and other community places. The CSP will encourage attitudes and behaviors which foster community inclusion and integration. The objective of the Community Supports Professional is to contribute to a positive living environment and to enhance the quality of life for the individual being supported. Qualifications: No experience necessary, paid training available Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
