About Alisa: Alisa has been with CCDS since 2016. She joined the agency as part of our Individualized Community Supports team, and recently took on the role of Quality Assurance and Training Specialist. Prior to coming on board at CCDS Alisa worked at the Capital District YMCA as an after school program site supervisor. She also has experience working as a planning officer at the University of Oulu Institute of Health Sciences and as a residential counselor at the Center for Disability Services. Alisa is grateful for the support and guidance of family, friends, teachers and the people in my community which gave her the opportunity to chase after her dreams. She enjoys working with people and hopes to assist individuals in finding ways to lead more independent, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Alisa is inspired by the kindness of her co-workers and through developing meaningful connections with the individuals she works with.
When she's not working Alisa enjoys playing the cello (she has been playing for over 20 years!), and is a cellist in the Community Symphony Orchestra at UAlbany. She also likes to travel and explore new and familiar places especially by walking, running, hiking, kayaking, and skiing.
