About Ellyn: Ellyn joined our Community Supports team in the spring of 2017. Prior to coming on board at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services Ellyn worked for several years as a Residential Counselor at Parsons Child and Family Center. She has also been an active volunteer with the Friday Knights Program for children with autism spectrum disorders or other social challenges and with the Help Yourself Academy.

Helping others has always been a passion of Ellyn’s.  Ellyn sees challenges as opportunities, and is grateful for the chance to continually be to learning from those she works with. The unique stories and personalities of the people she works with inspire her each day.

When she’s not working, Ellyn loves to spend time with her family, friends, and her adorable cat, Luna. She is an active member in her church and is there a few times every week.  She also enjoys baking goodies, doing arts and crafts, organizing, shopping, watching movies, and relaxing (especially with essential oils).
