About Julie: Julie began working at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services in 1998 as a speech therapist.  Julie is inspired by opportunity she has as an In her role as a ICF Service Coordinator Julie is inspired by the work she does and the chance she has to make a difference in the lives of the individuals living in the different CCDS residences.  She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside her co-workers in advocating for each individual we support, assisting each individual in communication and making decisions that are best for him or her. She is inspired by the relationships she has with each individual and continually strives to advocate for each provide the best care for each individual and in assisting with effective communication and decision making. , but to help them communicate unable to effectively communicate and/or do not have the cognitive ability to make informed decisions for themselves. 

When she’s not working Julie likes to draw and paint, read, cook and bake, crochet, work around her home, crewel, garden, snow ski and water ski, swim, boat, and spend time with her husband and family (not necessarily in that order).

Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree “Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped”, SUNY Plattsburgh
