Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Thursday, 11/14/24 that applications for the Home Energy Assistance Program. Learn more and apply for assistance here.
Heating costs can get expensive. Governor Hochul states that as the weather gets colder, the state wants to make sure New Yorkers can afford to heat their homes without breaking the bank.
Eligible New Yorkers can get up to $1,000 to cover heating bills, $4,000 to repair a boiler, and $8,000 for a boiler replacement.
The Home Energy Assistance Program makes a real difference in the lives of New Yorkers. Last year alone, it saved families across New York over $397 million. We want to make the same impact this year.
