About James (Jim): Jim joined our Community Supports department in 2016. Prior to coming to Catholic Charities Disabilities Services, Jim worked as a Case Manager for at risk youth and as a Mental Hygiene Therapy Aid for NYS in a variety of settings.

Jim continually strives to make a positive difference in the lives of those he works with. As a father of a daughter with arthritis, he has realized there are more challenges than any one individual or family can handle on their own.  His goal as a Community Supports Specialist is to see each person he supports thrive in spite of those challenges.  He knows firsthand how good services and good people make a life changing difference.  Jim is inspired when he is able to work to put together strategies and solutions that help produce small (and big!) victories and enhance the lives of others.

When he's not working Jim enjoys reading, movies, hitting the gym and spending time with his daughter. He is also a real foodie, and loves trying new restaurants.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in English, SUNY Albany
